How do I join my neighborhood group?
Groups are invite-only. A neighbor or your moderator sends you a code — enter it on the Join a group page.
Can other people see my phone number?
No. Your number is used only for sign-in codes and the texts you opt into. It is never shown to other members or to sponsors.
How do I stop the text notifications?
Turn "Neighborhood notifications" off in Settings, or reply STOP to any Hey Neighbor text. Sign-in codes still arrive when you request one.
Something in the conversation isn't right.
Use Report on the message. Your neighborhood moderator reviews reports. You can also block a neighbor from the group information panel.
What are the yellow sponsor cards?
Paid placements from local businesses, always labeled and never mixed in with neighbor messages. Sponsors cannot message you.
